Stitch'em yourself! UQBAR 8, THE MAXIMUM DINGHY 
The first of the family, Uqbar 8 was conceived as a tender for the designer's own trimaran, Tlon. Since multihulls do not take kindly to weight, the first Uqbar had to be as light as possible, and at the same time combine large capacity, compactness, and good handling characteristics, including towing at relatively high speed.
From the very beginning, Uqbar met all expectations, so that other sailors started wanting their own ... and the Back’n Forth Co. was founded to satisfy the demand.

 The sailing model offers a simple sprit rig, a kick-up rudder, and a daggerboard for lateral resistance. A single clip-on leeboard with kick-up blade is offered as an option. Uqbar 8 is large enough to be enjoyed as a primary boat that can be readily car-topped, yet small enough to be used as an efficient yacht tender.
