She can be car topped, and is mainly used as a primary boat for traveling on the water, fishing, gunkholing, -- as illustrated on this recent photo of a working Uqbar 10 built in 1983 and still going strong! -- or just plain enjoyment under oars, sail, or motor.
Two different seats arrangements are offered: with a conventional center seat, or with a fore and aft forward seat/roving station/king plank arrangement. She is a good sailer, easy to handle and very stable under her sprit rig, efficient daggerboard and and kick up rudder. Watch her ghost under light airs or go to windward with four persons aboard!
